भवति स्पर्शनात्तस्य किमेतेन कृतामलम् । यथा दुर्जनसंसर्गात्सुजनो याति लाघवम्
bhavati sparśanāttasya kimetena kṛtāmalam | yathā durjanasaṃsargātsujano yāti lāghavam
Dengan bersentuhan dengannya sahaja sudah jadi demikian—maka bagaimana pula kekotoran yang ditimbulkannya? Seperti bergaul dengan orang jahat, orang baik pun boleh jatuh hina.
