Narrator (a devotee) offering stuti to Devī/Śakti
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) tirtha-banks (Revākhaṇḍa context)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A brāhmaṇa devotee stands on the Narmadā bank with folded hands, chanting ‘Jaya’ to Devī as multiple śaktis appear as a radiant, many-aspected aura—Kaumārī with spear, Māhendrī with elephant emblem, Vaiṣṇavī with conch/disc, Vāruṇī with water-pot—while the river glows at dusk.
The one Goddess is praised as many divine powers (śaktis), revealing unity behind multiple forms.
The hymn occurs within the Revā Khaṇḍa narrative context; this verse focuses on Devī’s forms rather than naming a tīrtha.
Stuti (invocatory praise) to Devī in her manifold forms is exemplified.
