Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 32
द्विज उवाच । न विचारस्त्वया कार्यः कृता यज्ञा न संशयः । यदि वेदाः प्रमाणं तं भुवि देवा द्विजास्तथा
dvija uvāca | na vicārastvayā kāryaḥ kṛtā yajñā na saṃśayaḥ | yadi vedāḥ pramāṇaṃ taṃ bhuvi devā dvijāstathā
Brāhmaṇa itu berkata: “Engkau tidak perlu berfikir panjang tentang hal ini. Yajña-yajña itu benar-benar telah dilaksanakan—tiada keraguan. Jika Veda ialah pramāṇa, maka di bumi ini para dewa dan para brāhmaṇa juga menjadi saksi bagi kebenaran itu.”
