पतिव्रता स्वभर्त्रा सा मासमेवाश्रमे स्थिता । माण्डव्येनाप्यनुज्ञाता ययौ नत्वा स्वमाश्रमम्

pativratā svabhartrā sā māsamevāśrame sthitā | māṇḍavyenāpyanujñātā yayau natvā svamāśramam

Isteri yang setia (patnivrata) itu tinggal di asrama bersama suaminya selama genap sebulan. Kemudian, setelah mendapat keizinan Māṇḍavya juga, dia menunduk bersujud hormat lalu berangkat ke asramanya sendiri.
