रुद्रांस्तु विधिवज्जप्त्वा ब्राह्मणो वेदतत्त्ववित् । लिङ्गस्य दक्षिणे पार्श्वे स्थापयेत्कलशं शिवम्
rudrāṃstu vidhivajjaptvā brāhmaṇo vedatattvavit | liṅgasya dakṣiṇe pārśve sthāpayetkalaśaṃ śivam
Setelah melafazkan mantra-mantra Rudra menurut tatacara, seorang brāhmaṇa yang mengetahui hakikat Veda hendaklah meletakkan kalaśa suci bagi Śiva di sisi kanan liṅga.
Śaṅkara (Śiva) (contextual attribution within instruction + phala-śruti)
Tirtha: Mārkaṇḍeśa/Śiva-sthāna at Revā (contextual)
Type: temple
Scene: A learned brāhmaṇa recites Rudra hymns beside a black stone liṅga; a decorated kalaśa with mango leaves and coconut is placed on the liṅga’s right side; attendants hold bilva leaves and lamps.
Mantra-japa and ritual worship become fruitful when performed with proper vidhi and scriptural understanding.
No single tīrtha is specified in this verse; it gives a Śaiva ritual instruction within the Revā Khaṇḍa setting.
After Rudra-japa, place a consecrated kalaśa dedicated to Śiva on the right side of the liṅga.
