Leluhurnya akan berpuas hati selama dua belas tahun—tiada keraguan. Dan sesiapa yang di tīrtha itu mandi dengan bhakti lalu memuja Śiva, memperoleh pahala yang pasti itu.
Mārkaṇḍeya (deduced from Revā Khaṇḍa narrative continuity)
Tirtha: Siddheśvara
Type: ghat
Listener: Bhārata / the king
Scene: Two-part scene: (1) subtle, luminous pitṛs in the background receiving offerings and appearing content; (2) the devotee, freshly bathed, offers bilva leaves and water to the Siddheśvara liṅga, lamp flames steady in the river breeze.
Devotional bathing and Śiva-worship at a tīrtha is presented as a powerful act that also uplifts and satisfies one’s ancestors.
A sacred tīrtha on the Revā (Narmadā) praised in Āvantya Khaṇḍa’s Revā Khaṇḍa.
Snāna (bathing) at the tīrtha followed by bhakti-pūjā (devotional worship) of Śiva, linked with Pitṛ-tarpaṇa/śrāddha results.
