bhaviṣyati kimasmākamamāvāsyāpyamāhake | snānaṃ dānaṃ ca ye kuryuḥ pitṝṇāṃ tilatarpaṇam
“Apakah akan jadi kami, bahkan pada Amāvāsyā dan juga pada bulan Māgha?”—demikian mereka bimbang. Sesiapa yang bersuci dengan mandi, bersedekah, dan mempersembahkan til-tarpaṇa (air wijen) kepada para Pitṛ, merekalah yang memberi sokongan.
