Narrator (contextual Purāṇic voice within Revā Khaṇḍa)
Tirtha: Skanda-tīrtha (Revā)
Type: ghat
Listener: Bhārata / nṛpasattama
Scene: A sudden theophany: the Supreme Lord (Śiva/Parameśvara) becomes pleased; Brahmā and Viṣṇu appear with Brahmarṣis and Siddhas in the sky, showering flowers over the ascetic at the riverine tīrtha.
When austerity is sustained with sincerity, divine grace arises—approval from the Supreme and the community of sages follows.
The verse highlights the moment of divine satisfaction within the Revā Khaṇḍa setting rather than naming a new site.
No new rite is prescribed; it describes the result (tapas-phala): the Lord’s pleasure and the assent of sages and Siddhas.
