Type: river
Scene: A symbolic tableau: the Vedas personified as venerable figures placing their ‘seat’ upon a great Purāṇa manuscript, while sages witness—signifying ‘Vedas established in Purāṇa’.
Purāṇas function as an all-encompassing dharma-map—especially for pilgrimage and sacred places—presenting Vedic truth in accessible, place-rooted form.
No single tīrtha is named; the verse authorizes the Revā Khaṇḍa’s forthcoming sacred-geography as fully legitimate.
None; it is a sweeping statement of Purāṇic comprehensiveness and authority.
