स्कन्दसरः (Skandasara) — तीर्थवर्णनम् / Description of the Skandasara Sacred Lake

व्यासेन चोक्तं महितेन मह्यं मया च तद्वः कथितं समासात् । नावेदविद्भ्यः कथनीयमेतत्पुराणरत्नं पुरशासनस्य

vyāsena coktaṃ mahitena mahyaṃ mayā ca tadvaḥ kathitaṃ samāsāt | nāvedavidbhyaḥ kathanīyametatpurāṇaratnaṃ puraśāsanasya

Yang mulia Vyāsa telah menyatakannya kepadaku, dan kini aku telah menceritakannya kepada kamu secara ringkas. Permata Purāṇa ini, milik Tuhan yang memerintah kota-kota (Śiva), tidak wajar dihuraikan kepada mereka yang bukan pengenal Veda.
