समयाह्वय-संस्कारः — Rite of ‘Samayāhvaya’ and the Preparatory Layout

Maṇḍapa, Vedi, Kuṇḍas, Maṇḍala, Śiva-kumbha

पुनः संपूज्य देवेशं सम्यगाचम्य देशिकः । हुत्वा चैव यथान्यायं स्वजात्या वैश्यमुद्धरेत्

punaḥ saṃpūjya deveśaṃ samyagācamya deśikaḥ | hutvā caiva yathānyāyaṃ svajātyā vaiśyamuddharet

Kemudian sang guru, setelah sekali lagi memuja dengan sempurna Tuhan para dewa dan melakukan ācāmana dengan tertib, hendaklah mempersembahkan homa menurut aturan; melalui upacara yang sesuai dengan varṇa dirinya, hendaklah ia mengangkat murid Vaiśya, menuntunnya menuju keberkatan dan mokṣa di bawah rahmat Śiva.
