The verse highlights the fruit of earnest spiritual striving: when one hastens with focused intent, divine grace culminates in darśana—direct experiential recognition of the Supreme Reality, who is ultimately affirmed in Shaiva Siddhanta as Pati (Lord) beyond all bonds.
Though the scene depicts the Supreme Person in a luminous, perceivable form, it reinforces the Shaiva principle that Saguna worship (including Śiva-liṅga upāsanā) disciplines the mind and ripens devotion, making the seeker fit for direct vision of the Divine and for ascent toward the transcendent (Nirguna) truth.
It suggests swift, single-pointed approach (ekāgratā) supported by japa—especially the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and devotional contemplation of the Lord’s radiant form; practitioners may also steady the vow with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids to remembrance.
