It highlights that true praise of Śiva arises from a purified, tranquil mind (prasanna-manas). In Shaiva understanding, such inner clarity naturally turns toward Śaṅkara—the Pati (Lord) who grants auspiciousness and liberation.
The verse shows communal, heartfelt stuti (praise) directed to Śaṅkara in His approachable, Saguna aspect—precisely the mode in which devotees worship the Liṅga with mantra, hymns, and reverence, while recognizing His supreme transcendence.
Cultivate a prasanna (serene) mind through japa of the Pañcākṣarī ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") and offer stotra/praise; this inner disposition is the core practice implied, and it can be paired with traditional Śaiva observances like bhasma (tripuṇḍra) and rudrākṣa.
