साकं वदन्ति बहवो मनीषिण इन्द्रस्य सोमं जठरे यदादुहुः । यदी मृजन्ति सुगभस्तयो नरः सनीळाभिर्दशभिः काम्यं मधु ॥

sā́kaṃ vádanti bahávo manīṣíṇa índrasya sómaṃ jaṭháre yádāduhúḥ | yadī́ mṛjánti sú-gabhastayo nárāḥ sanī́ḷābhir daśábhiḥ kā́myaṃ mádhu ||

Bersama-sama banyak resi berkata tentang Soma milik Indra apabila mereka memerahnya ke dalam perut (bejana batin). Apabila para lelaki yang kuat tangannya memurnikannya dengan sepuluh saudari yang tinggal dalam satu rumah, madu yang didambakan—kemanisan nikmat—terbentuk dan disediakan untuk santapan jiwa.
