Sukta 7.66

Rishi: Vasiṣṭha
Devata: Sūrya (the ‘eye’ of the gods; solar-seeing principle)

तच्चक्षुर्देवहितं शुक्रमुच्चरत् । पश्येम शरदः शतं जीवेम शरदः शतम् ॥

tác cákṣur deváhitaṃ śukrám uccárat | páśyema śarádaḥ śatáṃ jī́vema śarádaḥ śatám ||

Mata itu, yang ditetapkan para dewa, yang cemerlang, terbit ke atas. Semoga kami melihat seratus musim luruh; semoga kami hidup seratus musim luruh.
