प्र सप्तहोता सनकादरोचत मातुरुपस्थे यदशोचदूधनि । न नि मिषति सुरणो दिवेदिवे यदसुरस्य जठरादजायत ॥

Transliteration

prá saptáhotā sanakā́d arocata mātúr upásthe yád aśócad ū́dhani | ná ní miṣati suráṇo divédive yád ásurasya jaṭhárād ájāyata ||

Translation

Maka bersinarlah Sang Tujuh-Hotṛ dari asal purba, ketika ia menyala di pangkuan Sang Ibu, di ambing pemeliharaan. Ia tidak berkelip, sang pemberi yang baik, hari demi hari, sejak ia lahir dari perut kuasa yang mulia.
