tatas te vānarāḥ sarve śoṇitaugha-pariplutāḥ |
dhvaja-varma-rathān aśvān nānā-praharaṇāni ca |
āplutyāplutya samare vānarendrā babhañcire ||
Maka semua vānara itu, disiram aliran darah, melompat berkali-kali dalam pertempuran; para raja vānara memecahkan panji, baju zirah, rata, kuda, dan aneka senjata.
