तमुवाचमहातेजाःपौलस्त्यमपराजितम् ।समह्वयेत्वांसमरेसम्यग्युद्धंप्रयच्छमे ।।6.87.9।।
tam uvāca mahātejāḥ paulastyam aparājitam | samāhvaye tvāṃ samare samyag yuddhaṃ prayaccha me || 6.87.9 ||
Lalu Lakṣmaṇa yang bercahaya dengan tenaga agung berkata kepada keturunan Paulastya yang tidak terkalahkan itu: “Aku mencabarmu di medan laga; berikanlah kepadaku pertempuran yang adil, berhadapan secara terang.”
