परस्वहरणेयुक्तंपरदाराभिमर्शकम् ।।6.87.22।।त्याज्यमाहुर्दुरात्मानंवेश्मप्रज्वलितंयथा ।
parasvaharaṇe yuktaṃ paradārābhimarśakam || 6.87.22 || tyājyam āhur durātmānaṃ veśma prajvalitaṃ yathā |
Orang yang terbiasa merampas harta orang lain dan mencemari isteri orang—si berhati jahat itu, kata mereka, wajib ditinggalkan, seperti meninggalkan rumah yang sedang marak terbakar.
"The association of one who has renounced righteousness and is of sinful deeds is left by a righteous man who undoubtedly attains happiness, is like shaking of a venomous serpent from the hand."
Dharma demands rejection of grave wrongs—stealing and violating another’s spouse—by distancing oneself from the wrongdoer as from immediate danger.
Vibhīṣaṇa lists concrete adharma to explain why separation from Ravana’s conduct is necessary.
Moral clarity and protective detachment—treating adharma as a ‘burning house’ to be exited.
