ज्वलन्तंतेजसानित्यंक्रोधेन च दुरासदम् ।कस्तंमृत्युमिवासह्यमासादयितुमर्हति ।।।।
jvalantaṃ tejasā nityaṃ krodhena ca durāsadam |
kas taṃ mṛtyum ivāsahyam āsādayitum arhati ||
Dia sentiasa menyala dengan keperkasaan, dan dalam murka tiada siapa mampu mendekatinya; siapakah berani menghampirinya—tak tertahan bagaikan Maut sendiri?
"Who can dare to approach Rama, who is difficult to encounter, unbearable and burning in anger like the spirit of death."
Dharma-oriented counsel discourages suicidal bravado. True valor is aligned with righteous purpose and wise timing, not self-destruction that harms the collective.
Mahodara intensifies his warning by depicting Rāma as an overwhelming, death-like force when enraged.
