The Awakening of Kumbhakarna
कुम्भकर्णोबभौहृष्टःकालान्तकयमोपमः ।भ्रातुस्सभवनंगच्छन्रक्षोबलसमन्वितः ।।।।कुम्भकर्णःपदन्यासैरकम्पयतमेन्दिीम् ।
kumbhakarṇo babhau hṛṣṭaḥ kālāntaka-yamopamaḥ |
bhrātuḥ sa bhavanaṃ gacchan rakṣo-bala-samanvitaḥ ||
kumbhakarṇaḥ pada-nyāsair akampayata medinīm |
Kumbhakarṇa bersukacita, tampak laksana Yama, pemusnah pada akhir zaman. Dikelilingi bala tentera rākṣasa, dia menuju ke istana saudaranya; dan dengan setiap langkah kakinya, bumi pun bergetar.
