The Awakening of Kumbhakarna
यदाभृशंतैर्निनदैर्महात्मानकुम्बकर्णोबुबुधेप्रसुप्तः ।ततोमुसुण्ठीर्मुसलानिसर्वेरक्षोगणास्तेजगृहुर्गदाश्च ।।।।
yadā bhṛśaṃ tair ninadair mahātmā na kumbhakarṇo bubudhe prasuptaḥ | tato musuṇṭhīr musalāni sarve rakṣo-gaṇās te jagṛhur gadāś ca ||
Namun, di tengah jeritan yang garang itu, Kumbhakarṇa yang bertubuh besar tetap tidak terjaga dari tidurnya. Maka semua gerombolan rākṣasa itu pun mengambil pemukul, belantan, dan gada.
Kumbhakarna sleeping like that, could not be awakened. Angry Rakshasas roared and hit him with mallets and maces.
