युद्धकाण्डे द्वादशः सर्गः — रावणस्य परिषद्-सम्बोधनं कुम्भकर्णस्य नीत्युपदेशश्च

Ravana’s Council Address and Kumbhakarna’s Counsel

प्रियाप्रियेसुखंदुःखंलाभालाभेहिताहिते ।धर्मकामार्थकृच्छ्रेषुयूयमर्हथवेदितुम् ।।6.12.7।।

priyāpriye sukhaṃ duḥkhaṃ lābhālābhe hitāhite | dharmakāmārthakṛcchreṣu yūyam arhatha veditum ||6.12.7||

Dalam keadaan sulit yang menyangkut dharma, kama dan artha, kamu semua layak menilai yang disukai dan yang dibenci, bahagia dan derita, untung dan rugi, serta yang bermanfaat dan yang memudaratkan.
