Dasaratha’s Lament and Return to Kausalya’s Apartments

Pasti Sītā—puteri kesayangan Janaka, yang biasa hidup dalam kesenangan—kini akan pergi ke rimba, letih kerana memijak duri-duri.
Sita, beloved daughter of Janaka, who is accustomed to comforts, will now wander in the forest troubled by piercing thorns.
It points to dharma as shared commitment: Sītā’s choice to accompany Rāma implies loyalty and partnership in righteous duty, despite personal hardship.
Daśaratha’s grief expands from Rāma to Sītā, imagining her delicate upbringing contrasted with the forest’s harsh paths.
Sītā’s steadfast devotion and willingness to endure suffering for dharma.
