Sita’s Resolve to Accompany Rama to the Forest
O Raghava, tiger among men, if I were given heaven to live in without you, even that I shall not covet.
Dharma ranks relationships and duty above comfort: righteous attachment to one’s rightful companion outweighs even celestial enjoyment.
Sītā rejects the very idea of being kept safe or honored elsewhere if it means separation from Rāma.
Loyalty and integrity of love—she refuses benefits that contradict her chosen dharma.
