द्वादशः सर्गः — Kaikeyi’s Boons and Dasaratha’s Moral Collapse
Ayodhya Kanda 12
शुद्धभावो हि भावं मे न तु ज्ञास्यति राघवः।।।।स वनं प्रब्रजे त्युक्तो बाढ मित्येव वक्षयति।
śuddhabhāvo hi bhāvaṃ me na tu jñāsyati rāghavaḥ | sa vanaṃ prabraje ty ukto bāḍhaṃ ity eva vakṣyati |
Rāghava yang berhati suci tidak akan mengetahui maksud batinku; apabila dikatakan, “Berangkatlah ke rimba,” dia hanya akan berkata, “Baiklah, demikianlah.”
The descendant of the Raghus (Rama) who is pure in thought will not come to know my intention. Therefore if I tell him 'Go to the forest,' he will say, 'Certainly so'.
