अनसूयाप्रीतिदानम्
Anasūyā’s Blessing and the Forest Path
तस्यां रात्र्यां व्यतीतायामभिषिच्य हुताग्निकान्।आपृच्छेतां नरव्याघ्रौ तापसान्वनगोचरान्।।।।
tasyāṁ rātryāṁ vyatītāyām abhiṣicya hutāgnikān | āpṛcchetāṁ naravyāghrau tāpasān vanagocarān ||
Apabila malam itu berlalu, kedua-dua lelaki laksana harimau itu, setelah mandi menyucikan diri dan selesai dengan upacara, memohon izin berpisah daripada para pertapa penghuni rimba yang telah menunaikan persembahan api suci.
Night over, the two best men, Rama and Lakshmana, after their ablution took leave of the ascetics inhabiting the forest who offered morning oblations to the fire .
Dharma is daily discipline and courtesy: purification (bath), respect to sacred rites, and proper leave-taking from those who supported them.
At dawn, Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa bathe and bid farewell to the ascetics after their morning rites.
