Dharma is upheld through mutual respect between household/forest-ascetic communities and righteous rulers—hospitality and honour sanctify shared life.
Rāma stays the night at the hermitage after being welcomed and honoured by ascetics and siddhas.
Rāma’s serenity and receptiveness to sage-culture, and the ascetics’ exemplary hospitality.
