The Exposition of the Nityā-paṭala
प्रयोगान्साधयेद्धीमान् मंगलायाः प्रसादतः । संपूज्य देवतां विप्रकुमारीं कन्यकां तु वा ॥ १८७ ॥
prayogānsādhayeddhīmān maṃgalāyāḥ prasādataḥ | saṃpūjya devatāṃ viprakumārīṃ kanyakāṃ tu vā || 187 ||
Orang bijaksana hendaklah menyempurnakan segala prayoga, yakni aplikasi ritual, dengan rahmat Maṅgalā, dewi keberkatan. Setelah terlebih dahulu memuja devatā, hendaklah ia memuliakan dengan sewajarnya sama ada seorang gadis Brahmin atau seorang anak dara muda.
