Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 23

Bhuvaneśī (Nidrā-Śakti) Mantra-vidhi, Nyāsa–Āvaraṇa Worship, Padma-homa Prayogas, and the Opening of Śrī-Mahālakṣmī Upāsanā

बीजाढ्यमासनं दत्त्वा मूर्तिं तेनैव कल्पयेत् । तस्यां संपूजयेद्देवीमावाह्यावरणैः क्रमात् ॥ २३ ॥

bījāḍhyamāsanaṃ dattvā mūrtiṃ tenaiva kalpayet | tasyāṃ saṃpūjayeddevīmāvāhyāvaraṇaiḥ kramāt || 23 ||

Sesudah mempersembahkan āsana (tempat duduk) yang diperkaya dengan bīja-mantra, hendaklah dibentuk mūrti dewi menurutnya. Kemudian, setelah mengundang Dewi bersemayam di dalamnya, hendaklah dipuja sepenuhnya, langkah demi langkah, bersama āvaraṇa, lapisan-lapisan pelindung yang berurutan.
