क्षंतुमर्हसि देवेशि त्यक्तकोपा विलोकय । न बभाषेऽप्येवमुक्ता सारुंधत्या विनिर्ययौ ॥ १८७ ॥
kṣaṃtumarhasi deveśi tyaktakopā vilokaya | na babhāṣe'pyevamuktā sāruṃdhatyā viniryayau || 187 ||
“Wahai Dewi, Penguasa para dewa, ampunilah aku; ketepikan murka dan pandanglah.” Namun walau dipujuk demikian, baginda tidak menjawab, lalu pergi bersama Arundhatī.
