Sanatkumara (teaching Narada in the Vedanga/ritual-application context)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse emphasizes the efficacy of a sanctified protective observance (such as a mantra-thread/amulet) when adopted with ādarā (reverent care): it becomes a cause of steady success and removes obstacles, bringing “victory at every step.”
By stressing ādarāt—doing the practice with sincere reverence—the verse aligns ritual efficacy with inner devotion: the external act (wearing it on neck/right arm) bears fruit when supported by faithful intent and disciplined observance.
It reflects prayoga (practical application) rooted in Vedanga-style discipline—proper placement and method (neck or right arm) and the principle that correct, reverent performance leads to siddhi (attainment).
