Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that worship begins with āvāhana (invocation) and proceeds with orderly pūjā, culminating in a conscious saṅkalpa—so the act of offering a lamp becomes a deliberate devotional rite rather than a mere gesture.
Bhakti here is expressed through attentive, reverent service: inviting the Lord, honoring Him “as before” (following the established method), and offering light with a clear intention—devotion guided by discipline.
Ritual praxis: the use of akṣata with water and the performance of saṅkalpa are core procedural elements of pūjā/vrata, reflecting technical competence in traditional ceremonial method.
