सर्षपैर्वश्यकृद्धोमो विद्वेषे हयमारजैः । कुंकुमैरिध्मकाष्ठैर्वा मरीचैर्जीरकैरपि ॥ ५५ ॥
sarṣapairvaśyakṛddhomo vidveṣe hayamārajaiḥ | kuṃkumairidhmakāṣṭhairvā marīcairjīrakairapi || 55 ||
Homa yang dilakukan dengan biji sawi (sarsapa) menghasilkan karma vaśya, iaitu upacara penarik hati. Untuk menimbulkan permusuhan (vidveṣa), ia dilakukan dengan hayamāraja. Begitu juga, ia boleh dilakukan dengan kunkuma (saffron), dengan kayu api yang sesuai, serta dengan lada hitam (marīca) dan jintan (jīraka).
