Narada Purana — Purva Bhaga, Shloka 184

Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga

ध्वजमादाय मन्त्रज्ञः संस्पर्शान्मोक्षणावधि । मातृकां जापयेत्पश्चाद्दशांशेन च होमयेत् ॥ १८४ ॥

dhvajamādāya mantrajñaḥ saṃsparśānmokṣaṇāvadhi | mātṛkāṃ jāpayetpaścāddaśāṃśena ca homayet || 184 ||

Orang yang mengetahui mantra hendaklah mengambil panji upacara dan meneruskan rukun dari sentuhan penyucian hingga saat pelepasannya. Sesudah itu, hendaklah ia melakukan japa mantra Mātṛkā (dewi suku kata), lalu mempersembahkan homa ke dalam api sebanyak satu persepuluh daripada bilangan japa.
