Hanumān-mantra-kathana: Mantra-bheda, Nyāsa, Yantra, and Prayoga
लक्षं जपेद्दशांशेन जुहुयात्पूर्ववत्सुधीः । पूर्ववत्पूजनं प्रोक्तं मंत्र स्यास्य विधानतः ॥ १४८ ॥
lakṣaṃ japeddaśāṃśena juhuyātpūrvavatsudhīḥ | pūrvavatpūjanaṃ proktaṃ maṃtra syāsya vidhānataḥ || 148 ||
Pengamal yang bijaksana hendaklah mengulang mantra seratus ribu kali; kemudian, sebagai sepersepuluh daripada bilangan itu, hendaklah ia mempersembahkan ahuti (homa) ke dalam api seperti sebelumnya. Demikian juga pemujaan ditetapkan seperti dahulu—itulah tatacara yang benar bagi mantra ini.

It standardizes mantra-sadhana: sustained japa is completed and then sealed through homa and puja, showing that inner repetition should be supported by Vedic ritual completion (vidhi).

Ritual proportioning and prayoga: the rule that homa should be performed as a tenth of the japa count is a technical procedural norm used in mantra-vidhi and karma-kāṇḍa practice.
