Mahāviṣṇu-Mantras: Aṣṭākṣarī, Sudarśana-Astra, Nyāsa Systems, Āvaraṇa-Pūjā, and Prayogas
Sanatkumara (in instruction to Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links outer ritual (ghee oblations and altar worship) with inner consecration (mūrti-saṅkalpa by the mūla-mantra), showing that devotion becomes effective when intention, mantra, and worship act together.
Bhakti here is expressed as orderly worship of Viṣṇu—offering, honoring the deity’s seat, and mentally establishing the divine presence—so devotion is not merely emotion but a disciplined act of reverence guided by mantra.
It highlights procedural ritual knowledge: homa with clarified butter, proper arcana at the pīṭha, and the use of a mūla-mantra for saṅkalpa/installation—core competencies of applied Vedic ritual practice.
