bhaumamūrtiṃ svarṇamayīmācāryāya samarpayet | maṃḍalasthe ghaṭe'bhyarcyetsutasaubhāgyasiddhaye || 116 ||
Narada (teaching in a technical/ritual context, commonly framed within Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue)
Vrata: Bhauma-vrata (Mars-related vow/rite)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It links disciplined ritual offering (to the ācārya and through maṇḍala–ghaṭa worship) with the harmonization of Bhauma’s influence, aiming at auspicious outcomes for one’s child—showing how technical rites are used to align karma and graha forces.
Bhakti here appears as reverent worship (abhyarcana) performed with proper ritual form and humility toward the ācārya; devotion is expressed through correct, sincere upacāra and charitable offering rather than mere sentiment.
It reflects Vedanga-style ritual application (kalasha/ghaṭa worship within a maṇḍala) and a Jyotiṣa-oriented graha practice (Bhauma/Mars), indicating remedial worship for specific life-goals such as suta-saubhāgya.
