Dengan mendengar Nārada Purāṇa ini—yang dihormati setara kewibawaannya dengan Veda—seseorang memperoleh segala hajat yang diingini, bahkan yang sukar dicapai sekalipun dalam kalangan para dewa.

It is a phala-śruti declaring the fruit of śravaṇa (devotional hearing): the Nārada Purāṇa is praised as veda-saṁmita (Veda-equivalent in authority), and attentive listening is said to grant even highly difficult boons.
By elevating śravaṇa—hearing sacred narration—as a direct means to blessings, it aligns with bhakti practice where listening to Purāṇic kathā (especially Narada’s teachings) is itself a transformative devotional discipline.
Rather than a specific Vedāṅga technique, the verse highlights the Veda-rooted authority (veda-saṁmita) of Purāṇic instruction—implying that proper śravaṇa of Purāṇa functions as a practical, accessible vehicle for Vedic dharma and spiritual goals.
