Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches a sattvic, non-possessive mode of worship: prepare a simple offering from naturally available grains, offer it to Viṣṇu, then let it be released/shared, and finally accept the same as prasāda—training humility, purity, and devotion.
Bhakti here is expressed through uncomplicated, sincere naivedya—offering first to Viṣṇu and then receiving it as His grace (prasāda). The emphasis is on devotion and purity of means rather than luxury.
Ritual procedure (kalpa-style discipline) is implied: proper preparation of naivedya, the sequence of offering (nivedana), subsequent visarjana/distribution, and consuming only after offering—core practical rules of devotional observance (vrata/niyama).
