The Exposition of the Table of Contents of the Brahmavaivarta Purāṇa
Narada (narrating a puranic summary within the Anukramanika-style section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: vira
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It flags an exemplary puranic episode where extraordinary deeds and a major dispute become a vehicle for teaching dharma—how power, pride, and transgression precipitate karmic consequences and corrective action.
Though not directly prescribing a bhakti practice, it frames the narrative method used in the Narada Purana: dramatic histories are recounted to turn the mind toward divine order (dharma) and, by implication, toward surrender to the Supreme who upholds that order.
No specific Vedanga (such as Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, or Kalpa-ritual procedure) is taught in this line; it functions as an anukramaṇikā-style pointer to a dharmic narrative rather than a technical instruction.
