Matsya Purana — The Strategy to Defeat Tāraka: Pārvatī’s Birth, Shloka 191

चरणौ पद्मसंकाशाव् अस्याः स्वच्छनखोज्ज्वलौ सुरासुराणां नमतां किरीटमणिकान्तिभिः //

caraṇau padmasaṃkāśāv asyāḥ svacchanakhojjvalau surāsurāṇāṃ namatāṃ kirīṭamaṇikāntibhiḥ //

Kedua-dua kaki Baginda bersinar laksana teratai; kuku-kuku kakinya yang jernih lagi berkilau memancarkan cahaya. Kilau itu diserlahkan oleh sinar permata pada mahkota para dewa dan asura ketika mereka tunduk menyembahnya.
