यथा प्रोक्तं तदा पादौ स्वच्छायाव्यभिचारिणौ अस्याः शृणु ममात्रापि वाग्युक्तिं शैलसत्तम //
yathā proktaṃ tadā pādau svacchāyāvyabhicāriṇau asyāḥ śṛṇu mamātrāpi vāgyuktiṃ śailasattama //
Seperti yang telah ditetapkan, maka kedua-dua kaki hendaklah dibentuk setia pada garis bentuknya yang wajar, tanpa sebarang penyimpangan. Sekarang dengarlah juga daripadaku hujah yang beralasan tentang hal ini, wahai yang terbaik antara gunung (mahaguru pengukir).
