Adhyaya 61 — The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat

Consent, restraint, and moral clarity: the dharmic agent refuses contact and names the inversion—what was sought (perhaps hospitality/help) is turned into seduction.
Ākhyāna with dharmic emphasis; it supports normative ethics rather than purāṇic cosmography.
‘Do not touch’ can be read as guarding the boundary of the self from rajas/tamas; the ‘otherwise’ (anyathā) indicates māyā’s tendency to distort intentions.
