Adhyaya 61The Second Manvantara Begins: The Brahmin’s Swift Journey and Varuthini’s Temptation on Himavat

सायं प्रातरहुतं हव्यं लोकान् यच्छति शाश्वतान् ।

त्रैलोक्यमेतदखिलं मूढे इव्ये प्रतिष्ठितम् ॥

sāyaṃ prātar hutaṃ havyaṃ lokān yacchati śāśvatān | trailokyam etad akhilaṃ mūḍhe iva iha pratiṣṭhitam ||

“Persembahan oblation pada pagi dan petang menganugerahkan alam-alam yang berkekalan (pencapaian syurga). Sesungguhnya seluruh tiga dunia ini tegak berasaskan itu—namun engkau di sini seakan-akan terpedaya.”
