Gratitude and proper closure are part of dharma: one completes a rite by respectfully addressing the invoked deities (Viśvedevās) and seeking blessings from the officiating brāhmaṇas, reinforcing humility and reciprocity.
Primarily Ācāra/Dharma-śikṣā (not one of the five cosmological marks directly). In Purāṇic classification, it belongs to instruction on right conduct supporting varṇāśrama-dharma.
The Viśvedevās represent the ‘all-gods’ principle—ritual completeness. Requesting blessings signifies receiving the ‘phala’ through a sanctioned human channel (brāhmaṇas as ritual witnesses).
