वैशम्पायन उवाच त्वद्युक्तोडयमनुप्रश्नो यन्मां पृच्छसि पार्थिव । तत्ते5हं सम्प्रवक्ष्यामि यथावद् भरतर्षभ
Vaiśampāyana uvāca: tvad-yukto 'yam anupraśno yan māṃ pṛcchasi pārthiva | tat te 'haṃ sampravakṣyāmi yathāvad bharatarṣabha ||
Vaiśampāyana berkata: “Wahai Raja, pertanyaan susulanmu itu memang wajar, kerana engkau menanyakannya kepadaku. Maka akan kujelaskan kepadamu dengan lengkap dan tepat, wahai permata kaum Bharata.”
