पाण्डवानां कुरूणां च गर्जतामितरेतरम् । तदनन्तर एक-दूसरेको लक्ष्य करके गर्जते हुए पाण्डव तथा कौरव योद्धाओंमें पुन: युद्ध आरम्भ हो गया। वहाँ जितने वाहन और सैनिक थे, वे सभी थक गये थे

Sañjaya berkata: Ketika Pāṇḍava dan Kuru saling mengaum, membidik sesama sendiri, pertempuran pun bermula lagi. Namun di medan itu, segala tunggangan dan segala askar telah keletihan—menunjukkan bahawa keganasan yang tidak henti-henti menghauskan manusia dan sarana, walaupun maruah dan amarah terus mengheret pertikaian ke hadapan.
