Duḥṣanta–Śakuntalā: Gandharva Marriage and Succession Condition
दिनक्षये महाबाहुर्मया भूय: समेष्यति । एकं वंशकरं पुत्र वीर॑ वै जनयिष्यति
dinakṣaye mahābāhur mayā bhūyaḥ sameṣyati | ekaṃ vaṃśakaraṃ putraṃ vīra vai janayiṣyati ||
Pada penghujung hari, wira berlengan perkasa itu akan bertemu denganku sekali lagi. Dia akan memperanakkan seorang putera tunggal yang gagah untuk meneruskan zuriat—yang akan memulihkan dan membawa ke hadapan garis keturunan selepas kehancuran.
