Svāyambhuva Lineage to Dakṣa; Pṛthu’s Devotion; Pāśupata Saṃnyāsa; Dakṣa–Satī Episode

शिखण्डनो ऽभवत् पुत्रः सुशील इति विश्रुतः / धार्मिको रूपसंपन्नो वेदवेदाङ्गपारगः

Baginda mempunyai seorang putera bernama Śikhaṇḍana, masyhur sebagai “Suśīla” (yang berakhlak mulia). Putera itu berpegang teguh pada dharma, elok rupanya, serta mahir sepenuhnya dalam Veda dan ilmu-ilmu bantuannya (Vedāṅga).
